Bookings

Please note that only whole boat bookings are taken (for both vessels).

Deposit:

A 20% deposit is required on booking a trip with the balance to be paid on the day of the charter (prior to departure).  Fees may be paid by cash, cheque or directly debited into our bank account.  Please note that we do not have eftpos or credit card facilities.

Cancellation Policy: 

In the event that bad weather forces a charter to be cancelled (prior to departure only), the deposit will be either refunded 100% or alternatively be used to secure a future booking with Outside Edge Charters.

In the event that a charter is cancelled at the request of the customer 10 days or more prior to the charter date, the deposit will be refunded 100% or alternatively be used to secure a future booking with Outside Edge Charters.

In the event that a charter is cancelled at the request of the customer less than 10 days prior to the charter date, the deposit will not be refunded unless the boat is re-booked by another person/s.

Notification from the Skipper:

The skipper will attempt to make contact with you (re the weather conditions) on the evening prior to the trip to confirm the outing unless prior contact has been made and the weather conditions are satisfactory.

General Safety Requirements:

NO SMOKING is permitted in the cabin areas.

NO DRUGS are permitted (except prescribed medication from a doctor or medication from a pharmacy).

Alcohol is permitted at the skipper’s discretion.  Drunkenness will not be tolerated.

If any of these safety requirements are contravened, the vessel will return to port.  No refund will be given in these circumstances.

What to Bring:

Trips aboard Outside Edge: 

Bring your sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen and a camera if you like. 

All fishing tackle, food and soft drinks/bottled water are supplied.

Sorry, footwear with marking soles is not permitted on the boat.

We advise that you consult your pharmacist, prior to your trip, if you are adversely affected (or believe you may be affected) by motion sickness.

Trips aboard Inside Edge:

Bring your lunch and snacks.  Food is not supplied on these trips.  All soft drinks/bottled water are supplied.

Fishing tackle is supplied.

Bring your sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen and a camera if you like. 

We recommend you wear some non-slip footwear (non-marking).
